Shaping the Sound of History

For Wellen der Zeit, a documentary celebrating Austria’s radio history, I aimed to visually capture the invisible audio elements that give radio its unique character. Static noise, wavy electric grids, and glowing waves echo the rhythm of radio signals, while snappy text animations pay homage to classic receivers without feeling dated. The challenge was to keep the design fresh and relevant, proving that radio still holds a powerful voice today.
