When Data Tells a Story
Humans have always loved to measure: from the distance to the moon to how many applications you have to sift through before finding the right hire. Numbers do more than count; they help us understand the world, guide our decisions, and tell stories that stick. Animated infographics take that instinct and bring it to life: turning raw data into visual narratives that inform, inspire, and sometimes even make you smile. The real magic lies in how you shape the stats (through color, scale, and rhythm) because when numbers move with intention, they don’t just explain, they connect.

The Tale of the Fewer Chicks
Raumfilm — Gesellschaft ohne Kinder
In Gesellschaft ohne Kinder, a documentary film by Raumfilm, the numbers tell a tender but urgent story: what happens when a society has fewer and fewer children. Taking a page from the legendary visual styles of Otto Neurath and Fritz Kahn, the animated infographics mix sharp clarity with bold personality, turning tricky demographics into simple, striking visuals. From shrinking birth rates to shifting age patterns, every frame is crafted to gently lead viewers through the story, making data feel alive, relatable, and worth thinking about.

Good Media Solutions — ICH kaufe, also bin ich
For a documentary by Good Media diving into consumer culture, I whipped up vibrant, pop-art-fueled infographics bursting with bold, juicy colors. The animations take it slow and smooth so viewers can really crack open the ideas without feeling rushed. Every illustration was chosen to make tricky concepts snap into focus at first glance. And guess what? This fresh take even scored a nomination for the 2025 Media Prize for Adult Education on TV, proving that when storytelling is clear, great things hatch.

Science of the Wild
Terra Mater Studio — Youtube Channel
For Terra Mater’s YouTube channel, I scrambled together a nest of animated infographics and illustrations to help unpack the science behind the wild: from owl flight paths and bird feather colors to the curious behavior of orcas. Whether layered over real footage or added as standalone segments, each piece was crafted to make complex ideas feel clear, specific, and perfectly nested in Terra Mater’s signature look: textured paper, stop-motion vibes, and all. Because when data feels alive, it doesn’t just inform — it brings us closer to the wild.
